LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Terre Haute is making available the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for fiscal year 2020. Copies of the CAPER are available for public review and comment for at least 15 days, from May 8 until May 24, 2021, during regular business hours at the Department of Redevelopment office, from 8:00 – 4:00, Monday thru Friday. Anyone wishing to comment on the CAPER, should do so in writing to: Phil Kesner, Department of Redevelopment, 17 Harding Avenue, Room 301 City Hall, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47807. Written comments must include the name and address of the person submitting the comment. The comment period will end May 24, 2021 at 4:00 PM. OPENINGS:
The Department of Redevelopment has completed construction of New Margaret Avenue, Phase III, This work included approximately 1,500 linear feet of new terrain roadway on New Margaret Avenue, 1,350 linear feet of new terrain roadway on Bill Farr Drive, and 2,500 linear feet of new terrain roadway for the North/South connector road. This workalso included approximately 4,800 linear feet of new sanitary sewer and a lift station. This street is now open to through traffic.
The Department of Redevelopment has completed construction of the Cherry Street Mult-Modal Transportation Facility at 750 Cherry Street. Larry Bird Avenue between 7th and 8th Street, 8th Street from Eagle Street to Cherry Street and Cherry Street from 7th Street to 9th Street are now open to through traffic.
The Department of Redevelopment has completed road reconstruction on Beech Street from 29th Street to 31st Street. This street is now open to through traffic.
