The Executive Director is the chief administrative officer of the Department of Redevelopment, and accomplishes overall management and operation of the Department in accordance with the work program, budget and personnel policies of the Redevelopment Commission.

The Real Estate Administrator coordinates and administers the Department’s responsibilities related to acquisition and disposition of real property, demolition of condemned buildings, recovery of demolition sites and participation in the of development projects. The Housing/Community Facilities Administrator coordinates and administers the Department’s programs for community facility rehabilitation, housing rehabilitation, new residential construction and housing counseling. Go to Residential area.

Phil Kesner – Grants/Planning Administrator

The Grants/Planning Administrator provides technical and research assistance to the Department in preparing reports, plans, and studies for projects undertaken by the Department. The position writes and administers grants, often for non-profit agencies, and partners with other organizations and governmental units to oversee and facilitate grants management and technical assistance. This position also assists with the set-up and documentation required for the Federal IDIS system and maintains the department's web sites.  Go to Documents/Reports area.

The Public Works Administrator coordinates and administers the Department’s programs for the design and construction of public improvements, such as street pavement, curbs, gutters, parks, buildings, and facilities. Go to Infrastructure area.

Cynthia A. Chandler – Finance Administrator

The finance administrator provides on-going financial analysis for all Redevelopment accounts by preparing monthly computer-generated reports for monitoring contract expenditures as required by law. The finance administrator coordinates the Department’s withdrawal of funds through the Federal IDIS system and is the local administrator for the IDIS system. The position is responsible for preparing the Department’s payroll, insurance and pension documents, along with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
